Irrelevant of whether you are on a cyling holiday or a cycling tour, Pateley Bridge is an ideal place to make your base. For large groups, Chews Cottage provides three apartments each with 2 double rooms - groups of 12 in total. Theres plenty to go at, from the "Way of the Roses", "Yorkshire tour de France" or the "Yorkshire UCI World Cup" Cycling routes. We can provide secure ground floor cycle storage. WALKING

If your passion is walking, then once you have arrived at Chews Cottage, then you won't need your car again. From Pateley Bridge there are numerous possibilities for walking. If you need some inspiration then just have a look at the walks encompassing the Nidderdale Way.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

There are numerous possibilities for mountain biking starting directly from Pateley Bridge. A good introductory route is this one setting off from Pateley along the side of Gouthwaite reservoir, and then back again to Pateley. Of course you can bring your own bike and keep it within our secure bike store. If you are feeling more adventerous have a look at some of these mountain bike tours.

BRIMHAM ROCKS
